From 1999 to 2003, Ginger was an Associate Director of College Counseling at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts.  While at Andover, Ginger also served as a residential house counselor and as Assistant Coach of the New England Championship Girls Varsity Swim team.

From 2003 to 2006, Ginger was the Director of Alumni Relations at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, where she served as an advocate for alumni in all facets of the school, including the admission process and the Board of Trustees.

Following Ginger’s relocation to Atlanta in 2011, Fay CC partnered with Kelly Adams Fraser of Green Apple College Guidance to continue to serve families in the DC area. Kelly spent the first five years of her career serving as guidance counselor for Dover-Sherborn High School, a U.S. News National Gold Medal School in Massachusetts. There she worked with students in grades 9-12, planned faculty professional development, and created research-based curricula for the school’s developmental guidance program. Starting in 2004, Kelly was Dover-Sherborn’s Testing Coordinator for College Board and ACT standardized tests. While at Dover-Sherborn, Kelly also worked for Harvard University’s Crimson Summer Academy, a highly competitive and innovative summer program for students from low-income backgrounds. Kelly partnered in the design and implementation of a comprehensive college program for Crimson Scholars, helping many of them gain admission to the country’s most selective private and public colleges.

In 2007, Kelly accepted an invitation to read for the Admissions Office at Brown University, assisting in the collaborative review of hundreds of Regular Decision applications. Shortly thereafter, Kelly joined an education consulting firm in Weston, Massachusetts, where she guided high school students on their course planning, admissions strategy, and essay writing. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston University, a Master’s in Applied Educational Psychology from Northeastern University, and a second Master’s degree in Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts. Kelly is certified as a school counselor and principal. She is an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and a member of both the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), and Washington Independent Services for Educational Resources (WISER), a DC-based organization whose mission is to improve educational services and promote child advocacy by providing resources to children and parents.
